Josh's Scarf!

My second scarf completed this year was knitted from some wonderful merino wool. A co-worker, Josh, purchased this scarf from me to wear on business trips up north. I told him that when he wears it, to be prepared to be "touched". When people saw me knitting it, they would ask what kind of yarn I was using and if they could feel it! After his next business trip to NY, he came back to work and told me that as he was walking off the plane, a lady stopped him, asked about the scarf, and asked if she could touch it! Josh is a good looking, single guy. Good luck with the scarf Josh!!

Martie's Scarf!!

This is the first scarf that I finished in 2006. I sent it to my friend in NY, who had back surgery in January. I purchased the silver heart pin from Clara at KR. She included the cat note card with my order. It matched the color of the scarf perfectly! Martie said she wears the scarf on chilly days when she takes her walks. I wish her a speedy recovery.

Once In A Blue Moon!!

Once in a Blue Moon -- well it was more than once for me! Last month I went to the Madrona Fiber Arts Retreat in Tacoma and came back with several skeins of lucious Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock yarn. On the top is Ruby Slippers. Left to right is: Lovers Leap, Carbon Dating, Fire on the Mountain, Lagoon, Farmhouse, Spinel, Tanzanite, and Petrified Wood. I can't wait to get started on these socks. On my way from the SeaTac airport, I shared a limo with Toni Neil, owner of The Fold. She was on her way to the retreat to help with the Blue Moon booth at the marketplace. I had recently purchased some STR from her internet store and it was nice to get to meet her!
